Bantam BB Wins Gold in Barrie at Sharksfest

After opening the tournament with a tough loss the Bantam BB team went undefeated for the remainder of the tournament to win Gold. Leading up to the finals and needing two come from behind victories to advance to the finals, the Bantam BB’s again came from behind twice in the final game to force overtime vs the North Simcoe Capitals. The Bantam BB’s scored with just 45 seconds left in regulation to tie the game. Overtime was exciting with chances at both ends of the ice before a pretty pass across and wicked shot with 1:58 remaining gave the Bantam BB’s victory. Congrats Ladies!!
